This was a purpose-built craft table. In this craft room, she wanted a place to stand while wrapping gifts, assembling crafts, etc. This was made entirely from quartersawn Sycamore.

Top is finished in Old Masters water-based matte (no yellowing when you use water-based finishes like this) and the custom base was from 2" square and 1"x3" rectangular steel in a matte black powder coat.

Lots of room and lots of utility with the shelf underneath.

With a couple of stools, this can become the comfy craft table it was intended to be.

One benefit of custom-built tables is that the result is exactly what your room needed - not working your room to the table.
